Hmm, I would have thought that would have been the issue. 
Check all 3 tabs under "Blocked senders list" when you go to 
"Tools" then "Message rules".

Check your AV software if it has any anti-Spam features, or 
anything similar to that you may have installed.  Sometimes 
they'll move the tagged email as spam to the Deleted folder.
