Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions but really, and to be honest, I simply could not find the solution so I did a 'system restore' which did the trick ! Oh....and whilst I am here, another little problem ;- For years I have used 'Avast' anti virus and for years a voice has told me that the 'signatures' have been updated. Now, the voice has gone but the updates still take place but I long to have the 'voice' back and can't find the way to do it. Again, help please Harold Many thanks once again ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jorge Pinckney" <jorgep@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pcworks@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 12:15 PM Subject: Re: [PCWorks] Outlook Express.. strange behaviour > Dear Harold: > > Yo must take a look in Tools/messages rules and fix this place (unmark > everything) May be messages rules setting is in incorrect way > > Remember: the messages rules is a tool for evoiding unwanted incomin mail. > Fix it and tell me later > > Good luck! > > Jorge > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Harold Windle" <ormer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "pcworks" <pcworks@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 6:01 AM > Subject: [PCWorks] Outlook Express.. strange behaviour > > > Help on this please. > I use Outlook Express and for some reason or other, all the mail coming in > from a particular sender, goes directly to my "Deleted Items" folder > whereas > the rest of the incoming mail still goes to my "Inbox Folder". > All very strange....I have not altered anything. > Your help will be appreciated > Harold > > > > --- > avast!
