Found out AFTER downloading a new version of WM, and attempting to install THAT, it came up with a repair button..I clicked it and bingo...the problem between Adobe and WM, whatever it was, was solved. I had NO idea that adobe is connected to WM...never had any problem before over the years but I started using a new Reg cleaner and that problem started up...so I must have removed something being shared that WM didn't like--or something. ml ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike" <mikebike@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 8:26 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: windows messenger shut off Hi ML, I use a program called "Shoot the Messenger" by Steve Gibson Shoot The Messenger - Quicky and Easily Control Windows Messenger Service. grc.com/stm/shootthemessenger.htm I hope this helps Mike ~ one of the Moderators It is a good day if I learned something new.
