Got it, and thank you! Just to that end, I've been cleaning up a lot of stuff I want to keep. Once that is done, I'll attack the rest of it :) Madeleine -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of keith Sent: Saturday, July 27, 2002 8:33 AM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: reinstalling windows 98 If there is nothing on the hard drive you want to keep,do an FDISK and FORMAT,then install WIN98se. -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Madeleine Jacobs Sent: Saturday, July 27, 2002 10:22 AM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: reinstalling windows 98 This brings up a problem I'm having....I have Win95 and want to upgrade but it will not let me use the full version of Win 98. It says I'm required to remove a previous version of windows but I thought I remember someone telling me some time ago that you can install a new full version of Windows over the top of any older one. Seems like I did this before with no problem. How does one go about this if Win95 won't let you do this? I have the full version of Win 98 and SE.
