Copy the dbx file you want to save first before you try anything else.
Then there is this link which has great help for OE problems.
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/ and this "How do I import a single mail
folder?" seems to be an answer for your problem. (but copy your dbx file
first to a safe place)
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/faqs/how.htm#importdbx

If all else fails there is a dbx extractor for OE mail. I have extracted
with DBXtract but have not tried the new DBxpress. Try both of them with a
copy of your dbx file. It saves lost messages but they no longer open in OE.
