Copy the dbx file you want to save first before you try anything else. Then there is this link which has great help for OE problems. http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/ and this "How do I import a single mail folder?" seems to be an answer for your problem. (but copy your dbx file first to a safe place) http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/faqs/how.htm#importdbx If all else fails there is a dbx extractor for OE mail. I have extracted with DBXtract but have not tried the new DBxpress. Try both of them with a copy of your dbx file. It saves lost messages but they no longer open in OE. http://www.oehelp.com/Default.aspx Carlene Earl ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dolores" <inquisitive@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 22, 2004 12:55 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- need some help > I'm running windows 98SE and using OE 6 - I have my mail set up with rules > to go to separate folders for each group - well I hadn't had a chance to > sort through this one folder and now all of a sudden within OE it says it's > empty.
