I'd check what's starting up first to trigger that UAC. Type MSCONFIG on you startup menu, and then expand it to full screen so you can see paths, and figure out exactly what is causing it and where it's located. Use the UAC info to do so. I think I "may" know where the program came from, not 100 percent sure but maybe. I had tried installing an old logitech webcam that ended up not working with my windows 7. I uninstalled the program "I thought". It is not in control panel and I ran revco uninstaller also. I do find the program in C:/windows directory, it describes it as a self extracting windows 32 file. Can I just delete it? The name of it is p_981116.exe.
