In Zone Alarm, click the icon in the taskbar and choose Restore
ZoneAlarm Control Center.  Click on OVERVIEW on the left side
and then on the Preferences Tab from the center section.  In the
top part of that section, change the setting for Check For Product
Updates to whichever setting ISN'T checked and the window will
go away.
