Darryl, Changing an icon for a hard drive partition requires the use of a properly formatted autorun.inf file (which won't work over a networked resource). However, it's very easy to make a shortcut to the Mapped folder/partition/whatever and then change the icon that shortcut uses. It won't pretty up your Windows Explorer or My Computer view, but it'll sure stand out on your Start button menu, SendTo menu or Desktop.
