Yes it is hard to leave aol when that is all you have had. The good thing about aol is when you call to cancel your account they will give you a free month, I took it and then signed with earthlink, while I learned the new internet explorer I had aol to fall back on, I think it was 3 months I had the free aol before I just flat told them NO I was going and wouldn't take another free month. I tried to get my stepmother to switch..from AOL..but then she would have had to learn all new programing and a separate mail system...not a good idea at 80+ years old..She paniced because it wouldn't install or she couldn't figured it out. Went back to AOL..THAT one she knows...so I left her to it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Hank To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2004 12:57 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: -=PCTechTalk=-testing In a message dated 2/24/2004 2:36:26 PM Eastern Standard Time, hdka@xxxxxxxxxxxxx writes: Christy if you ever leave aol you will look back and see that it was the best thing you have ever done on the computer.
