I don't know how truly independent it is, but you can read one at
http://tinyurl.com/yhmw37q I have always thought that it is a good idea to use
more than one anti-spyware program.
Steve Gibson (who, in my opinion, is the best malware expert) has referenced MS
Security Essentials several times in his podcasts . . . see the transcripts or
listen to episodes 202, 208, 216, and 218 at http://www.grc.com/securitynow.htm
