MY WISH IS FOR STRANGERS While people are hugging family and friends in the comfort of their homes, my wish is for those who don't have it quite as nice. For the homeless, I wish you a warm room to sleep in tonight. For the hungry, a meal for the holidays and also for hunger to become a stranger in the months to come. For the lost and abandoned animals out in the cold streets I wish for you a loving home and plenty of treats. For the child in the hospital sick with a terrible disease, I wish for you a cure to end the suffering. For the child living in a hostile home, I wish for you to be whisked away and taken to a safe place and hopefully find loving parents down the road. For the alcoholic or drug addict, I wish for you to be able to overcome your addiction and that life would once again be tolerable. For those alone I hope you can find love and friendship. For the world in general I wish we could find more things on which to agree and less things with which to disagree. I wish we could find more ways we are alike instead of trying to find out why we are so different. I wish we could have more religions agree on a common goal instead of trying to convince people that one is better than the other. I wish all kids could have the same chance, no matter where they are born, where they live, or what they look like. My wishes are many and none for myself - for if any of these come true, I wouldn't need any for myself - would I? -=-=- sent to me a couple of years ago on the www Cheers and best wishes to all Mike the mod in BC ******* REPLY SEPARATOR ********* On Thu, Dec 24, 2009 at 9:43 AM, D.
