hi Glenn the more I read about ISO the more confused I get ! Firmware updates the software in your burner, and *may* fix some problems. Since Softpedia seems to confuse things up, I would not trust them. For your model LDW-411S there is a firmware upgrade available from Lite-On directly at http://www.liteonit.eu/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=178 but it seems to be the same one you already found.
