If you have a USB port, you could add an external hard drive to
your
computer. HTH

Yes I was looking at this option and it makes more sense
because I could use it for a back up for both my Gateway Laptop
and HP.
The external drives I was looking at on tigerdirect.com and
compusa.com said they were 2.0 USBs but backward compatible
with my 1.1 USB ports.
I have 2 4-Port USB Hubs -- Desktop one is full but Laptop
still has two ports open.
Yup, I do believe this is a solution.
