Ed,
     When I press the START SCAN button on the scanner's control panel, the 
error in the window says "No scan options" "You need to install or run HP 
software for this feature".
     The copy and print functions still work. Hopefully I can find the 
install disk. I'll delete then reinstall the software to see if that fixes the 
problem.
