Yes, but still see the progress of each download. I probably didn't word my
request as best I could. IE has a download dialog box with a progress bar
showing (x of x copied). That's the sort of thing I want with Firefox
instead of the box with a list of current (and recent) downloads.

I haven't used IE for so long that I can't remember how IE does it.  Do you
just want to get rid of the box that comes up with your list of current
downloads  (usually on the left-hand of the screen)?
