I haven't used IE for so long that I can't remember how IE does it. Do you
just want to get rid of the box that comes up with your list of current
downloads (usually on the left-hand of the screen)?

Larry

I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the list of downloads. Say I
right click on a picture and choose Save Picture As. I tell it where to save
it, and then another window pops up showing the entire download list as well
as the progress of the current file. What I'd like is something that will
change it so that it downloads like IE does.

Have you tried clicking on "Do this automatically" in the future on the
download window?
