I am running 7.1.361 v.base 267.125/149 release date of 10/25/2005
Try opening AVG from the icon in the notification area (system tray) you will
see the screen I sent you, or should.

same - the Update section is in the left lower quarter whereas in your
pic it is in the lower right. Perhaps yours is not the current version?
Anyway still I can not find anything to help.
I should say that I have changed my email address, and I mailed Grisoft
to tell them of the change, but I received an automated response which
said something to the effect that they did not keep email addresses!
I'll visit their website as Roy suggests. Thanks again for your trouble.
