    Actually, I got this email just before you sent it.  Due to the 
comparison, my system is now slow as molasses in replying.     :O)

    To test your system, you'll need to hunt down a benchmarking program 
that focuses more on system memory than anything else.  I'm not sure which 
one(s) do that, so let us know what you discover.
