I have a Dell OpitplexGX2800Series
Im running Windows XP SP3.
Yesterday I installed these updates.
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 Windows XP (KB2183461
and these others:
KB2079403
KB2115168
KB2160329
KB2286198
KB980436
KB981852
KB981997
KB982214
KB982665
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool Aug 2010 KB890803
I Installed these and used my pc for approximatley and hour then restarted
it as it requested.
Continued for additonal hour and shut it down for several hours while I was
away.
Returned home started it and got caught up then shut it down for the
night. This morning
I was on catching up and in the middle of filling out a form and it shut
itself down repeatedly
now all I have is a flashing yellow light going on..I had to unplug it...it
will NOT come on again.
If there is any issues with these updates how would I get it back up so I
could remove which ever one
or all of them if that be the case so I can get this up and running
again...it is still under warranty another 30 days.
