-=PCTechTalk=- HELP--EXPLORER NOT RESPONDING

Hello G Man,

All went well with removing Explorer & I really didn't loose too much in the
way of programs. Went to get Windows update & it has been lingering on for
over twenty minutes, now it wants to install a validation tool. Looks like
this might be a lengthy process. But at least he will get his computer back
& be able to use it.

Thanks again,
Jan

Jan,
First, see if there's a listing for IE7 in Add/Remove Programs. It MAY
let you remove what it started to install. If not, do a System Restore to
the most recent point you can find. You'll have to redo the other stuff you
already did, but at least the system won't be mush when you give it back.

Peace,
GMan
