Hjya ... something new is happening to my Gmail. When I go to a free site that I have been to before and click on a picture on the web page I get a web address for the picture instead of the picture. Here is a Celebrity site that I tried today. www.celebnewswire.com I clicked on a picture in a Gmail Celebrity news letter and got this instead of the picture opening ... <html><body><img alt="http://www.celebnewswire.com/heather_graham_nip_wonk_1.jpg"; src="http://www.celebnewswire.com/heather_graham_nip_wonk_1.jpg";> This is happening on several sites that I have been able to see pictures on in the past. I have checked my settings in FireFox ( the browser that I use ) and also the settings in my Gmail account. As far as security is concerned ... I have Spybot Search and Distroy, Defender, Trend Micro P C Cillin, and WinPatrol installed. I`m hoping that I have not picked up a virus somewhere. I am running Vista Service Pack 1. It`s driving me to distraction. Sorry I have not posted in a while ... my system has been running OK until now. I do receive and read the digest from the group every day.
