-=PCTechTalk=- Curiosity may kill the reckless maverick

*If* the OS saw fit to place the various files and folders discussed in
a separate thread onto a second physical drive rather than the actual
boot drive, can anyone please explain why, as it makes no sense to me
simply because second physical drives are subject to being removed
without notice to the OS. Well, at least I've never thought to inform
the OS of such actions and have never suffered any ill-effects. Neither
have I asked for permission (forgiveness is easier to get than permission).

If the OS did *not* place them there, who or what did? Any guesses?
Anyone???

Since everything appears to be working OK right now I am in no hurry to
allow the reckless maverick to try anything without first gaining more
knowledge about the situation.
