[pchelpers] Web search engines

Can anyone recommend a listserv that deals with website development? I
run a simple, uncomplicated site with quite a lot of academic papers and
documents. Some folks want to be able to search the materials, I guess by
using a search engine local to the site. I think key word search is probably
another issue.
Does anyone have any practical experience in addressing this addition to
the site.
