A 24-year-old University of Texas graduate was sued in civil court by Microsoft and the State of Texas for spamming, The Chicago Tribune reported. Ryan Pitylak faces fines of at least $1 million and will be stripped of most of his assets and forced to stop spamming forever, the newspaper said. He admitted sending out 25 million e-mails every day at the height of his operation. "He definitely learned how to run a business," his attorney, William Paul Lawrence, told the newspaper. "But his choice of business starting out maybe wasn't the best one."
