In reference to the below that I've just posted it is really such an enigma 
 how archived *.class files were transferred to this home-made XCP.  So I  
never did start out with a tuly clean copy of XP and I am also wondering if  
there is a way, if I transfer enough to the externl drive that I can do an  
'install' and have a new opy of of XP on this motherboard.  I do not have a 
 backup but there is a file there that looks it could possible be some kind 
of  setup file for XP.  Does XP comes with an executable file contained 
right  into their softwar?

Hi List,
All does seem to  be fine and am still using the XP made up for me ,  
homegrown?, and  all does seem fine except

1. I've transferred my documents, graphics  and program files to an 
external 
iomega hard drive. However I cannot  understand why I am on vary low disk 
space  available.   

Any suggestions  Thanks.
