In a way I don't fully understand, this type of email is used by spammers to
render certain types of spam filters ineffective, according to Fred Langa of
the LangaList. The article I read can be found here:
http://www.langa.com/#c
If you don't get the LangaList you should sign up. It's full of useful
information.

Subject: [pchelpers] Gibberish body in email

Content-Type: text/plain;

BlankDo any of you get spam email with gibberish such as =
here:??????????????

"growth dailey gaulle homogeneous disjunct profundity anecdotal spooky =
set belfry apart chaplaincy pasteboard graveyard facile beechwood =
teacart micrography terrace opec madman symptom staunton detente =
abdominal fascicle cinderella edgerton claim down encapsulate terrapin =
microbial iowa beauregard camp "

There was an image with it that made this spam appear to be a =
solicitation for a device where you could freeload cable tv. I get about =
one a week with this sort of gibberish.

It seems to come from a long past bigfoot email address which I remember =
their server had lots of problems with address listing spammers.
