Good afternoon My awesome Star Tours Group!

A few of you have taken the RSVP position for an event and haven't reported
to me that you got paid. Remember, I not only coordinate the events, but i
wanna know my Team is fed and paid as well.

If you receive cash from an event, just tell me in an email or phone text
it was cash. i don't need to know the amount, if you received a minimum of
what was agreed upon. The RSVP for the event is receiving a copy of the
Invoice which becomes the Check Disbursement, if I am not at an event with
the Team. But I still need to know PAS got paid.
If it is a check, I've been asking my RSVP's to photograph it the front of
the check and send it my way. I don't need the check, as that goes to Eric.
But it would be nice to know I did my job 100%.

The other thing is, we agreed, somewhere back when everyone was talking
about reducing down the amount of Reviews in the Newsletter, that one
person from each event should do the review.
I'm ok with that. But once in a while, like this past Bookmans Telescope
Workshop, i could use a few words from those who helped at the event, that
I couldn't hear or be involved with as I was helping others... so writing a
review is very one sided, in a case like that. And so i asked for some
reviews, thoughts, etc, to be sent my way to enhance the review. Mostly...
who did you help (first names are handy) and what did you help them do? I
try to keep track but that's a lot when i'm also doing my own teaching of
what scope to purchase. Your help is greatly appreciated.

So, all events, who ever the RSVP is, need to have a mini review which
covers which PAS Members attended, and anything really cool about the
event. And if you want, one person writing the review, is all we need,
unless it is a situation where I can't keep track of everything because i'm
really involved in what i'm doing.

Now, if you go to a school and Sam is RSVP, and he asks you to help with
the review because 500+ people at the event will be too many to keep tabs
on, etc... then, just toss an email to Sam (as RSVP for that event), and
let him comprize the review. I understand if the RSVP can't do everything,
that is why I have a Telescope Team. There is no "S" in TEAM.... S = Sam in
this case. So, help out every way you can. If the RSVP doesn't ask for a
brief review but you do have something to contribute, like something fun
someone said, or a comment they made about having the scopes at that
location, etc. ... send it over. We want our reviews to show we are
appreciated, personable and hireable.

Please don't assume I know what you did at an event. Help out as much as
you can. Thank you all so much for being a GREAT TEAM and working together.

Also, remember, in my absence, who ever is chosen as RSVP is the one in
charge AT the event. And sometimes, earlier in the day, when deciding on
the Weather for an event...

If you really don't want the position, make sure i know about it, before
the event happens. Such as, when you RSVP to attend, drop me an email
saying you are not interested in being the RSVP at that event. And i will
choose someone else.

If you are chosen, and you can't take photos with your phone, or you don't
have a camera to do so, please get with someone in the TEAM for that event,
and have them do the photos. Being in charge means you can delegate. Please
do so. Ask Don to take photos, if he brings his camera to the event.

I'd like several photos taken, but only wish to use one of them, and if you
want to include your own caption, maybe a funny saying or something that
went along with the photo idea, send it over too.

A Photo can also be a review of an event. One or 2 photos that says it
all, with captions of the name of the school and date of the event, would
be perfect as a review. We don't need a bunch of words, but I like words,
too.

So, keep that in mind when you are sending me data for the Newsletter.

Don and I did a newsletter survey at the Jan 14 PAS Meeting. The results
are coming to you at the MOM tomorrow night. More input is always welcome.

Please have a most awesome Tuesday.
This is a busy week ahead of us.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks
Terri, Event Manager
