Yes, should be a good night - note that after 10PM, cloud cover, transparency and seeing are shown close to perfect. ________________________________ From: pasmembers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pasmembers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of insanas@xxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, April 21, 2012 9:04 AM To: insanas@xxxxxxx; pasmembers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [pasmembers] Re: Weather Antenna site April 21st NOAA now has 0% cloud cover and 1 to 5 mph winds all night at antenna's site. There will be no moon, and the Lyrids meteor shower should be good. Eric has been there before so he can provide the exact details on how to get there. Apparently there are no facilities so bring your own electricity, food, water, etc... Eric indicated that there are usually several scopes from SAC and other amature astronomers taking advantage of the extremely dark skies. So far Sat looks good weather wise but let's keep watching the updates. Terri, you may want to consider putting this on the PAS website and calendar. Take care, Sam
