Shouldn’t the subject line be changed for this thread? I don’t think it has
much to do with Bobby Vee. Devon.

I hope these people get what's coming to them too. To do this to a bunch of
wine people is really ridiculous. We didn't do anything to anybody. We didn't
serve in the war or anything like that. This is totally ridiculous. I haven't
heard if any of the blind people in my building have been injured. They said
there's 29 injuries and I guess a couple that are serious. But I haven't found
out if any of them were from the building. That's what I'd like to find out at
some point.

Hi, Kathleen,
I just turned on the news and they just gave brief coverage of what happened.
I don't understand why these people would want to harm people who live in an
apartment building for the blind. I just know there are evil people out there
but they'll get what's coming to them when there time comes to go.

I think I may turn on my Scanner and see what I can hear. Maybe I should've
turned it on earlier but it's probably jumping like crazy. We've never had
anything happen like that near my building. But why would somebody want to do
this to a bunch of blind people? I know probably we weren't targeted but hey it
just doesn't make a whole Lotta sense. Why would somebody do this it's just
crazy. Honestly it really is. I know a few years back there was some people
that lived in a building behind us that were very rich and I started
circulating this petition to have her apartment building moved so they could
have it. They were all angry because we didn't have Christmas lights and all
that stuff like most sighted people. And of course the petition failed. I
wonder if it's one of them but I'm not going to speculate either. But this is
just totally insane. I really can't believe this this is really weird. And now
my landlord is going to have to file an insurance claim to get all that glass
fixed and everything.

Hi, Kathleen,
I'm gonna turn on our local news station now so I can see if there's any
new info about your building. This is absolutely horrible.

No my friend Debbie was inside the building visiting a friend of hers.
So she was inside and she was using another person cell phone I think. But
anyway she is definitely OK. This whole thing is weird. The things that they
call my building they call it a home for the blind they call the rehabilitation
center but it's an apartment building for the blind. Everybody thinks it's what
it's not. I know that sentence didn't make any sense but I don't know how else
to explain it. But maybe I'll have to stay here Idon't know. I have no idea.
But we'll just have to find out how this is going to play out. I just wish I
had better response to your reception here. Honestly I do. It's hard to even
get radio stations to listen to the news and it's really frustrating. And I'm
still

Hi, Vicky,
I'm sure they'll mention it on our news out here too. Kathleen may
have to stay in the building she's in now for her own safety.

Yes, I did watch the news and saw that New York had this explosion.
They said it was near a rehabilitation center for the blind and I wondered if
it wasn’t the building you lived in Kathleen. I had dinner and then came on
here to inquire whether it was the place you lived. One of the witnesses they
interviewed was named Deborah. Wonder if it’s your friend. She was OK, but
now the number is 25 people who have been hurt, but not seriously. Thank God
for that. Glass was broken out of several buildings around that area at 23rd
and 6th avenue. Thanks for telling us it is your building and thank God you
are not anywhere near. They said on Fox News that people could feel the
shaking as far as 29th and 7th. So, it seems to be a little more than what
some authorities are saying is construction items being thrown into the
dumpster. There was another explosion in a dumpster in New Jersey, Jersey
City, I believe was the exact place at an area where a Marine 5k race was
taking place. So, if there’s another one in Virginia, sounds really suspicious
to me. Wondering where they’ll attack next. Usually groups don’t take
responsibility for these kinds of things until all the damage is done. Anyway,
glad you’re OK. Yeah, you may have to stay there longer until they can check
the building’s stability and all the windows. Take care.

I don't know if any if you were following the news on this list. I
hope that you are. About 830 tonight a bomb went off right outside Seles manner
the building that I live in. 14 people were injured from what I was heard and
the dumpster was used as a weapon. Police and fire and everybody else is all
over the place. Nobody is allowed in and out of the neighborhood. Why would
somebody want to set off a pipe bomb in front of a building for the blind? This
just doesn't make any kind of sense and I was supposed to move back on the
second. I wonder how that's going to change. I guess I'll find out on Monday.
I'll have to go on Facebook and see if anything is on there. Is this is just
really crazy. And then I guess a few hours later somebody set off the same type
a bomb in Virginia. So it wasn't used in New York. Since I don't have a.m.
reception I can't listen to the local news. So this is really crazy. But I
didn't mean to disrupt the happiness of The list I thought you guys should know.
I'm OK I'm over in Stuyvesant town and I wanted to let you know
that. My friend Debbie is OK and from what I understand my other friends are OK
to even though I haven't heard from them. But I heard that bomb created a huge
mess. Windows that were just put in to newly renovated apartments from what I
understand were blown out. Oh boy what a mess. I have a feeling I may be
spending more time over here than I thought. OMG I knew something was going to
happen
