Well Linda I hope your health situation improves. Honestly it seems like you've
been through the ringer lately. Well I got some news today that I was not ready
for. And neither was my physical therapist I don't think. Well here's what I
just got told today. Next Friday will be my last day of therapy at Metro sports
physical therapy the clinic that I've been the happiest that. Medicare is not
going to pay for any more therapy there. She told me my only other option is to
go to a hospital as an outpatient and go to therapy there. She said that
Medicare will pay if I go to a hospital forever and ever and that's it. The
only other option I have which I refuse to do is to go into a nursing home
which Medicare told me to do the last time I got dropped out of another clinic.
Over the same issue. The Medicare. The guy told me if I want to physical
therapy I should go to one nursing home and I said why should I do that and he
said well you're blind you should go to one. And I got the guy at Medicare in
trouble for saying that too. Anyway that was just really crazy. So Megan and I
were just about ready to cry. And I also don't have my unlimited long distance
back from Time Warner either. So I don't know where that's going to stand.
Because I was happy I was doing chat lines and getting paid for it. And Time
Warner got upset about that. But the other thing they did was they drop my
access to information. Or directory assistance whatever you want to call it. So
I can't look up phone numbers on my own or anything. So I'm thinking about
taking them to court over that issue. So that's the way that goes. So it's
really going to be sad when I leave the clinic next Friday. I already told one
of the other therapist goodbye. I told Lisa goodbye and I told Joe goodbye to.
And I have a feeling like Megan's not going to hold up very well either. I know
she was really upset and angry and so was I. This whole thing with healthcare
is totally fucked up and I'm sorry to use that language with Nana my test. I
mean really I'm not even fully functional yet and they're going to dump me out.
That's just doesn't make sense. I mean I still have pain in my shoulder and my
forearm and she just said to some of the exercises at home or start with
another clinic. If I do that I'll have to get used to another therapist at the
clinic at the hospital. Which I can do but I don't even know where to go. So
I'm kind of upset about this whole thing. But as far as window so I don't have
to worry about that. At some point I'm going to have to go to the Apple Store
and get my phone updated. And I will do that soon I think. Maybe since I'm
going to have a couple more free days I can go to the senior center that's neck
next to me and socialize. I have no idea what I'm going to go home yet. Now
let's see what happens with all my stuff comes back that I put in storage.
Hopefully the welcome back. Anyway I called the library and ask him to replace
a book on cassette that was defective. I also asked him about another book and
they said it was an old book and they said I might get a defective cassette if
they replaced it. So let's see what happens. The library is telling me they're
phasing out the set books but they're still sending them to me. Plus the
digitals. And I really think I have a haunted digital player. Every once in a
while when I'm in the bedroom and I'm not even touching my digital player it'll
start playing my book all by itself. It takes the book back to the beginning
and starts playing it. I wonder if it's because I'm close to the radiology
department at the hospital or something. This is really strange and I told the
person at the library and he said it was really weird. It doesn't do it all the
time but it does it every once in a while. And I woke up a couple days ago and
my digital player was playing. It was really kind of odd
