Marvin, I’m so impressed that you’re getting your certificate soon, and that
you’re the first blind person to have achieved this!! Way to go, you trail
blazer!!
California U.S.A. sure could use a drenching like you described in South
Australia as we’ve had one heck of a drought over the past four years. It’s
getting better but there are too many sunny days coming in February. We may
have scattered showersthis afternoon and tonight, but that hardly makes a dent
in the drought.
Sounds as if you’re really enjoying the renovations happening at your house!
How lovely your dad can do most of the work himself! I had a fire here in 2014,
and my family had to hire a contractor, one whom we’d dealt with before, and he
put in a new kitchen for me in about two months. I have a cat, and he wouldn’t
have done well anywhere else but home.
You take care, and I know you’re working hard on your next goals!! How great
for you!!

Hi every one. Hope you are doing well. Weather has been nice, had a nice old
storm yesterday, almost an inch of rain, power was down in parts of south
Australia. And port pirrie macdonalds got flooded out. and the drains could not
cope, even our drains at our house was starting to struggle. Could not hear my
self think it was so loud. And now, should get my certificate iv programming in
a few weeks time and get the electronic copy. So, working and now doing the
first few subjects for the diploma in software development, learning c #, ruby,
web forms, etc. and then the first project will be a c # application, menus for
a restaurant. So working hard at that. Dad today was tiling the laundry, and
basically, all renovations are done for now. And I love my new shower, nice and
big. Big enough to swing a guide dog in. ha! Ha! Okay, went on the treadmill
today and listened to the following tracks:
Burning down the house, tom jones and the cardigans, classic, Adrian gervitz,
cool world, mondo rock, cruel to be kind, nik lowe, dancing queen, abba, dizzy,
vic reeves and the wonder stuff, do you believe in love, huey lewis and the
news, escaping, Margret urlich, everlasting love, rex smith, Rachel sweet,
everyday, Jason donovon, firework, katy perry, four seasons in one day, crowded
house, freeway of love, areatha franklin (12 inch extended mix), girls on film,
durrann durrann, girls talk, ry cooder, give it up, kc and the sunshine band.
For dinner, had lamb chops, pumkin, mashed potatoes, and carrots with gravy.
Very yummy. Then for sesert had a piece of fruit cake and a apricot coconut jam
bun, and a coffee. Very yummy.
