For several years, whenever Linda Terrell neededsurgical aftercare, I took care
of her. She always had a social worker take her to and from the hospital, not
necessarily the same person each time, but arrangements were made so that she
didn't have to have anyone like a sighted friend take off work in order to get
her to the hospital. I'm almost certain the hospital will set something up for
you and get you where you need to go at the time you need to be there. They'll
also see that you get home, and will probably arrange for a home health nurse
should you need one. They've got social workers in hospitals whose jobs it is
to help people who don't have nearby family members to be with them.

Linda I have the 5S. This is my second 5S. The first one had to be replaced
because the battery was going to explode. I can't believe Best Buy sold me a
defective phone but at least Apple help me out. Usually when I want to contact I
asked Siri to find it. Yes I could probably go from one to the other the way you
want to but I just do with the lazy way I guess. But I need my iPhone for email.
Well it's supposed to pour rain and be very windy tomorrow. I'm not looking
forward to that. Not really. Because I have to go to therapy. You'll probably
get soaked. And umbrella won't help all that much either. Plus where I have to
wait for buses there's no shelter yuck. That's just how that goes. And this one
guy for my ham club wants my old computer monitor I don't need. So we supposed
to come over to get it. But I'm going to tell him if you can't be here by
quarter after two or before then early by two I'm just gonna leave. I don't want
to be late for this appointment. And he has a
tendency not to show up on time either. And when he calls me tomorrow I'm going
to tell him that. I don't know why he decided to do this tomorrow. I said can't
you do it Thursday and he said he had other things to do. But I mean he could
probably do this Thursday if we wanted to but oh well. Anyway let's put it this
way Monday I hope I can go to the doctor. Then I can get the surgery scheduled
and everything set up. But my friend Todd that's the guy who wants to come and
get the computer told me that if I don't have somebody to bring me home after
the surgery they won't let me go. And I told him I said well I may not have a
sighted person. To go with me. So that's basically how that goes. And I talked
to one of my neighbors in the building and she said go to the hospital likes it
or not they'll have to provide you transportation home. Oh yeah I bet they'll
really love setting that up. Plus we have to set up the home care. So let's see
how this goes and see if your rocker she
can work which I hope it will because I really would want it to. But that's
basically how that goes also saying we might get a storm next week I'll boy.
