It's out already, from what I understand. Tomorrow I'm getting Direct TV installed as part ofmy AT&T U-Verse. They've been wanting me to get TV for as long as I've had the account, and just as of today, I have inherited one of my mom's TV's. Nothing is wrong with it. She's giving it to me because she bought a new TV that has more of a rectangular screen, and I gather she's a little disturbed because the faces sometimes have minor blemishes on them, and she can see the lines people have in their faces. So much for high definition TV, right? But, they've given me a $300 Visa rewards card that I'll be able to use like cash, and once I get it, I'll pay U-Verse bills with that, which will hold me over till I end my cell phone contract (it'll be up in August). So obviously tomorrow I can't see if the movie is playing in Alameda, but if it is, I'll let you know so you can see if it's playing at a theater one of your sisters can take you to. I gather from my cousin Doug that it's a wonderful movie. I think he's seen it, and I'm pretty sure he's read the book.

I'd love to see it too when it comes out.

I haven't seen a commercial for the movie yet either, but boy, when it comes out, I'm going, even if I have to go by myself!! It'll likely play at the theater we have in Alameda.

Actually, Marcia wrote to the MSB list, saying she and Rob read the book from Barred, two years ago. So, they must be resurfacing it since the movie is or will be showing. I haven't seen a commercial for it.

This has been on bard for a long time. It's a good book to read if you're a big rock music fan.

As some of you know, I am a huge Wrecking Crew fan. I bought the movie and contributed to the kickstarrter campaign to raise money to get the movie out. They had a ton of royalties to pay which if you ever see the movie you'd understand why.

The Wrecking Crew played on literally thousands of records from the 60s to the mid-70s.

Anyway, NLS just got around to doing one of the definitive books on the Wrecking Crew.
