God Bless you. I know you've had to make many, many adjustments because of the
increase in your hearing loss. It's probably good that you have friends you can
call on to help you with cleaning the house and the yard (hopefully you have a
small yard) and also shopping. Hopefully when you go shopping you also get to
go out and eat, and at least that gets you out of the house for a time.
The only real problem I've had with AT&T was with that one technician.
Everyone else has been awesome to me. Although I have DSL, the internet speed
is very good, and the Wy-Fi signal is also quite good. I have no problem
downloading BARD books with my Victor Stream, now that I know how to do it as of
yesterday. Didn't know the proper way to do it with this device till yesterday.
I talked to a guy named Roger Behm. I didn't buy my Victor Stream from him, but
I'll buy any technical equipment from him that I can from now on. He's a really
terrific man, and he helped me greatly with some tips. After the third, I'll
take his offer up and purchase a new anti-virus program. Although I haven't had
problems with Microsoft Security, it may be wise to get something additional.
He uses Window-Eyes and doesn't seem to have a conflict with AVG and Window-Eyes
but I'll have to call Window-Eyes and find out if this is a good plan. Sorry
for rambling.

I got away from a t and t in 2013 because when I had it, I found my
bard book downloads were way way too slow. Not only that but to get
internet and phone on one bill, I found the cost too high. I am using
charter cable for allot less, but without t v service as I don't use it
enough to justify it.
I can't get home help so I pay friends to do those things I am not good
at, like big house cleaning and mowing the yard and taking me shopping.
There is no bus service and I can nolonger do outdoor mobility as I
have about a sixty percent lost of hearing. So today, it was clean the
yard, house, and go get groceries.
Linda, I am sorry for your bad night. Kathleen, I hope your move goes
well. Thanks to all for making the list what it is!
