I think the royalty issue may have been what brought Radio Bop's seven
stations down at the start of this year. Harold Levene, the controller at a
mid-sized Houston law firm, had some unique ideas about formatting, which
were doing fine 'til that time. (His wife called the stations his "black
hole" hobby, cause she never saw that much of him.)
I suspect Richbro took some more time to make all the adjustments that
inevitably go with moving and changing providers, if changing them is what
he did. The station sounds great today, and has for the last five hours,
during which I've been aware of its return.

Aaahhh, thanks, Walt!! I like Fun 45's, but they're not nearly as conscious
about not playing remakes (I heard three in the time I was listening), and
Rich plays obscurities. I just hope the internet price gouging for
royalties that Congress won't stop isn't gonna put Richbro off the air for
good.
