Aw, Vickie, you’re so sweet to continue to pray for me. I can’t exert myself
too much. I was doing well to do a load of laundry, some clothing and a bath
towell, and when it was time for me to lay down, I didn’t know if the problem
was virus related or not, but I hurt like all getout especially in the area of
the right shoulder blade and between my shoulders. I know when the
inflammation from my arms comes up my body, then it settles between the
shoulders and eventually the Neurontin makes it run down the body. Problem is,
Neurontin is also supposed to put people to sleep, but I haven’t had that
reaction to it the last couple of nights and have had a really hard time
getting to sleep because of the pain. I feel twitching sensations all over my
body as I lay there, trying to get to sleep. I’m sort of jumpy when I type,
especially with the right hand, and though I can get around my house, my
balance, coordination and sense of direction are all still being effective. I
know I have to take this one day at a time, one little baby step at a time. It
ain’t easy.

Hi Linda. Sorry I’m late on this, but want to add my concerns for your
conditions. Glad you are taking a nerve medicine if nerves are the problem.
Sounds logical to me. your stomach could be either reacting to dropping the
pain meds, which is called withdrawals. Or, perhaps you should take your nerve
medicine with food. A piece of bread or toast, some warm tea to help soothe
the tummy and as you have already said, soups like chicken noodle. I sure hope
you get this worked out. A nasty tummy totally takes over your body. Also,
make sure you’re having normal bowel movements. Backed up bowels cause upper
tummy pain too. The pain meds cause that too. I know because sometimes Duane
has to take stool softeners/laxatives combined in order to go. He’s been
miserable in that area off and on, since February. I must admit though, he has
lost a lot of weight because of it. But he didn’t want to do it being sick.
At this moment he’s OK, but I have to keep reminding him to take those
softeners. We’re also eating apples which helps in that area too. Prayers are
still coming your way. Love ya.

Oh, well, fine! Some days , it's just not worth getting out of the bed, huh,
Linda? Don't forget the brat diet: bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast,
though some of those things may not be good for your diabetes. Poor you!!!

Hi. Discovered today on top of this that I've developed a tummy virus so am in
process of stocking up on more soups and roasted chicken TV dinners to follow a
good week on soups so I can get over this crap. Thanks all for your prayers.
