I remember hearing that Whirlpool will send a brailled overlay for some of
their products like washers and dryers. So, are they still doing that? I have
purchased a Whirlpool washer with knobs, so that I could do the laundry myself
once either the dials are marked or brailled. Since its the weekend, though, I
didn’t call Whirlpool, although the guy at BestBuy was very nice to provide us
with their customer service number. Also, does any other manufacturers do the
same? I bought an Amana dryer. BestBuy had a big sell to celebrate their 50
years in business. However, they were sure more expensive than when I bought a
washer and dryer back in the 90s. Inflation I guess when cheap is $299 and
$399. Oh well, maybe I should have waited until closer to when we move into a
new house, but I was able to delay the delivery date. I so hate going to the
laundry mat to do our clothes.
