Let me add my condolences to you and your family regarding your guide dog.
It’s like losing a part of your family. After all he was with you most of his
living life. You depended on him and he on you. I have never lost a guide
dog, but I have pet dogs. It’s heart breaking. Take care. God bless you. I
too, hope you can get a new dog soon.

Subject: [ourplace] Fozzy! my Guide Dog.
Hi all. I had to put Fozzy to sleep today. He had been finding it harder
and harder to use his back legs, and last night it was more and more
obvious that he was having breathing issues too. So, today, is the day,
no use prolonging making his life miserable, though I could have maybe
handled his breathing issues with medications, but he was 13 plus years
old, so it was time. It will take me some time to get over this one,
though over is not the issue, it is living without him which is the
getting use to part actually.
