I think I may have somebody do my Facebook picture. Then I won't get that
message anymore. The other message I get is a message from this one lady asking
me to play candy crush or Farmville. It's really crazy. There's no way to turn
that off. Anyway tomorrow I have my appointment with the orthopedist. Let's see
how that goes. Well it's going to be a while before I do some long-distance
traveling. And I still don't know when I'm going back home. But that's OK
really. But anyway the laundry got done and I had veal Parmesan for dinner. It
was really good too. Honestly it really was. But anyway tonight I just listen
to the Yankee game and they play the Royals and that we lost 8 to 5. Not a good
score but oh well it's just a game anyway. So let's see how tomorrow goes with
the orthopedist. I don't know if I'm going to be able to continue therapy or
not. If I do it'll be in the hospital is it outpatient or satellite clinic. So
we'll just have to see how that plays out to. But anyway on September 3 my mom
my mom will be 90 and that something else. She was sent a card with a great big
cupcake on it. And she described it to me and it was pretty good. Anyway I
think she was remembering a lot of things in the past now. But her faculties
are still intact. But that's just how that goes. But anyway we talked for a
while on Sunday and that's OK. The conversation was good. But I'm trying to get
her to do something that she needs to do soon. But anyway that's OK. But today
I'm not in a lot of pain but just a little vet. And I gave by 8 o'clock to put
in the mailbox so that's one more to go back to the library. But I'll sure be
glad to go back to my permanent place. But I'm glad I wasn't there last week
because I had a water leak and they had to turn the power water off. Oh boy.
Anyway what can you do. But it seems like right now I have a good connection
and that's OK. But anyway other than that not much else is going on here. But I
still would like to get my picture taken and put on Facebook and I'll probably
do that soon.

of the people I have friended are blind or are family members. I'm sure
you'd have to be sighted in order to work a lot of the newer technologies

oors in this building. You might want to check with the Lighthouse in
Manhattan or elsewhere in New York to see if they have a 3D printer, and if
they do, ask if you can see it.

Well I would just like to see a 3-D printer. I don't think I'd want to own
one but I think I'd want to touch one. That would be really cool if I could.
Honestly it really would. But I don't know how some blind people take
pictures. Especially those that use the NFBK reader thing. So I don't know
how they do that. It would be interesting to find out. But I think I'd like
to put one on Facebook at some point. Because I keep getting a message asking
me to add a picture to my profile. And of course I don't know how to do that.
But anyway tomorrow I see. The orthopedist. Today my worker did my laundry. I
mean I could probably do it myself with these machines over here at labeled.
The other issue if you need cited assistance to fill the card. Because the
machines are accessible. We're supposed to get that type of machine in our
building and they claim we're going to get one that talks. All I can say
about that is I'll believe it when I actually see it. But that's basically
how tha
t goes.
But I do miss the ham radio. Because I can't transmit. And I don't know why
either. The only thing I can think of is on on the lower floor and there's so
much metal and stuff in this building. Plus I'm not that far from the
hospital either and I think I'm fairly close to radiology. I think that's why
my digital player would go nuts sometimes. I would be totally asleep in the
foyer would start playing the book all by itself. It would rewind the book
back to the beginning. Knock on wood it hasn't done that for a while thank
goodness. And I'm really glad to. Because a couple times it did that it
scared the heck out of me. But I still would just like to see. What are
3-D printer would sound like and what it would feel like. It would really be
kind a neat. But anyway Linda as far as the iOS 9 book I want to get the one
for 10 because 10 is coming out soon. But I still would like to find a
keyboard with fairly large keys on it. And I still want it at some point go
to Verizon

pple Store and look at the newer iPhones. But I probably won't do that for a
while. The place near my building where are used to go to to get my iPhone
updated his clothes because the landlord raise the rent. So if I need help
with the iPhone I have to go to the Apple Store. And I do get help going
there because that's a very dangerous crossing. And the thing that scares me
is eventually if there's electric cars will never hear them. Honestly that's
really crazy. I hope your shoulders doing a lot better. As far as the survey
situation I don't know what I'm going to do yet. Because Medicare won't let
me have anymore. So we'll just have to see how this all plays out on Tuesday.
And I also need to buy a new AM/FM radio. My boombox gave up the ghost. And
I'd like to find a radio with Diles if I can. But I'm not really sure they
make those anymore. I'd like to find one that has AM/FM CD and cassette if I
can find something like that. If I can't I'll just settle for the AM/FM. B

do that when I get home. I don't want to buy anything and then have a get
lost or stolen.

businesses and large businesses who are inventing new products so that an
inventor can essentially draw the product design into the printer and then
get an idea if the drawing he/she has entered into the 3D printer is going
to work. You'll have to wait quite a long time before this is applicable
for someone at home to use, and even then, you probably wouldn't be able to
afford the printer, let alone use it to make your own pair of shoes. Don't
get caried away by what you think is awesome. Yes, it's neat that these are

Wow that was a neat article. I really liked it. Man I wish I could touch a

really want to stay in therapy. So now I'm either going to have to go to a
hospital is it outpatient or just not do it. And that's really frustrating.
I hate when Medicare throws you out when you're not even finished. That's
the way the coast. Plus I talk to my mother on Sunday and she's bugging me
about getting a will done and if I want to get cremated to figure out how to
pay for it. She's been bugging me about this for months. And she has the
idea in her head that is a blind person I can't get life insurance. OK maybe
that was true back in 1955 because she told me that she couldn't get it for
me but I thought th

can't argue with a woman it's almost going to be 90. So I'm not not even
going to try. I guess I'm going to have to talk to Social Security and find
out if I can get life insurance. Then she says she doesn't know if I can
inherit money from her because I would lose my SSI. I tried to tell her she
should've put it in a trust and she didn't. Oh well. I guess I'm going to
have to talk to her lawyer. Or find one here. And trying to get legal
representation when you're on a fixed income is not easy.

Computers will become exponentially better in
understanding the world.
This year, a computer beat the best Go player in
the world, 10 years earlier than expected.
In the US, young lawyers already don't get jobs
because IBM's Watson, where you can get legal advice (so far for more or
less basic stuff) within seconds with a 90% accuracy compared to 70%
accuracy when done by humans.
There will be 90% less lawyers in the future, only
specialists will remain.
So if you study law, stop immediately!!!
Medicine
Watson already helps nurses diagnose cancer, 4
times more accurate than human nurses.
Facebook now has a pattern recognition software
that can recognize faces better than humans.
In 2030, computers will become more intelligent
than humans.
Transport
Autonomous cars: In 2018 the first self driving
cars will appear for the public.
Around 2020, the complete industry will start to
be disrupted.
You won't want to own a car anymore, however, if
you do want a car, then electric cars will already start becoming
mainstream by 2020.
Furthermore, cities will be less noisy because all
cars will run on electric.
You will call a car with your phone, it will show
up at your location and drive you to your destination.
You will not need to park it, you only pay for the
driven distance and can be productive while driving.
Our kids will never get a driver's licence and

It will change the cities, because we will need
90-95% less cars for that.

Solar production has been on an exponential curve

3D printing
The price of the cheapest 3D printer came down
from $18,000 to $400 within 10 years.
In the same time, it became 100 times faster.
All major shoe companies started 3D printing shoes.
Spare airplane parts are already 3D printed in
remote airports.
The space station now has a printer that
eliminates the need for the large amount of spare parts they used to have
in the past.
At the end of this year, new smart phones will
have 3D scanning possibilities. You can then 3D scan your feet and print
your perfect shoe at home. In China, they have already 3D printed a
complete 6-storey office building.
By 2027, 10% of everything that's being produced
will be 3D printed.
Work
70-80% of jobs will disappear in the next 20 years.
There will be a lot of new jobs, but it is not
clear if there will be enough new jobs in such a short time.
Agriculture and food
There will be a $100 agricultural robot in the
future. Farmers in 3rd world countries can then become managers of their

The first petri dish produced veal is now

Right now, an average life span increases by 3

Four years ago, a life span used to be 79 years,

The increase itself is increasing, and by 2036,

So we all might live for a long, long time,
probably way more than 100 years old.
Education
The cheapest smart phones are already sold for $10
in Africa and Asia.
By 2020, 70% of all humans will own a smart phone
