I can just imagine that Devon and her trusty partner, Vester, would be
magnificent in the front of the parade...
Hoping cool weather during the run; it's dangerous to run in hot weather...
We're having mid to upper 90s in our region today, with heat indices around
average of 105. No good for running... Hope yall are much cooler than that!

Hello Nancy.
Thanks for writing.
Yes, certainly do send us some chilly weather for the next few hours.
I enjoy running in the rain as well.
I started running some 35 years ago, as a sighted runner, gradually
lost all my vision.
I encourage blind and partially sighted folks to get out there, walk,
jog, run.
I'd like to see more blind runners at our local running events.
Devon, you should be walking at the front of the parade.

Hi, Gaston:
I haven't talked to you before, but my name is Nancy, and I'm actually
the modesrator even though I don't post very often. I think it's great
that you are running the 10K today! Do send us in Southeastern
Oklahoma some cooler weather, and perhaps Devon could send us a bit of
the rain on her parade :-) Happy Canada day!

Hello Devon,
Have a nice Canada Day.
I'm running the Canada Day 10 k, today in Kanata, just west of Ottawa.
My guides Christopher and Laurence are guiding me.
I run best in cool weather, it starts at 8 am.

Hi, everyone. I'd like to wish all the Canadians on this list a very
happy Canada Day. Vestor and I will be walking behind our East
Peterborough Lions Club float at around noon today. When we're
finished with the parade, which might well get rained on, we'll be
headed to a barbecue. I think it will be exciting as the country
begins to prepare for Canada's 150th birthday, which will be next
July 1. Have a terrific day. Devon.
