Nirmalya, I tried de-install but cannot find cygwin in : Control panel : Add or remove programs. I tried install in another directory but that did not work. It does nothing meaning no new install. Do you or some one know of a easier way. I am trying to avoid to go in to registry and remove it. Thanks Shailesh, Mark and all for your help.
