Nirmalya,
I tried de-install but cannot find cygwin in : Control panel : Add or
remove programs. I tried install in another directory but that did not work. It
does nothing meaning no new install. Do you or some one know of a easier way. I
am trying to avoid to go in to registry and remove it.
Thanks Shailesh, Mark and all for your help.

Make sure you install everything during install.
Pay attention when you are selecting the modules.
