without looking, i have this weird feeling I read one time you can't
go to 11.2x.   I think exp/imp is your best bet, having installed the
software in parallel.  that is what I've always done.  painful, but clean.

this guy, [ID 429825.1] says to go from 9208->11.1 without mention
of 11.2, how odd.
