Muir Woods (redwoods) are beautiful.
Lots of great restaurants.
The aquarium in Monterey is a must-see
Just be careful in planning any city walking to remember that SF is hilly in 
places so a straight line on the map is not necessarily the shortest distance 
between 2 points.  

Remember to pack warm clothes.

I have my wife meet me on Wed or TH, then we stay for a long wkd.

If your wife likes Whisky, buy her tix to the WhiskyFest event at the 
Marriott next to the Moscone, it's on Friday after OOW finishes up.

Me and the missus will be there :)
