Log on to metalink and look for deinstalling oracle. There are papers with detailed instructions for really cleaning up an Oracle installation. The CD uninstall doesn't really take care of everything. The documentation refers to a number of characteristic strings in the registry ('oracle', 'orcl','ora', etc), including 'ORADC'. Can anyone tell me if this includes the following keys: "_DORADC" and "_DORADCEvents", Each appear a total of twice, in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Interface and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Classes/Interface Should these keys be deleted too? thanks very much, peter edinburgh -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l
