If you know the variables/constant names and the name of the package, surely
you can
issue a text matching search on the DBA|USER_SOURCE view couldn't you ?

Subject: referencing package variables

Hi gurus,

working on oracle 9.x on WinXP.

is there a possibility, to reference package variables (defined as =
constants
in the package header) in a simple sql statement ?

i.e. "Select pkg.constant1 from dual"

any help would be appreciated
