I meant it depends on the SQL statements either using a cursor or not.

The statspack report shows "high Avg read time" (more than 10000 ms)
for Temp tablespace. This is true only when particular batch job runs.
The batch job is not doing any ORDER BY,DISTINCT ,UNION and group
by,etc, however it uses many cursors.
My question is "does cursor will use temporary tablespace?"
