"Set define off" or "set define <to something else>". After that, find =
the duhveloper who defined that table & shoot them. You'll be doing the =
rest of us a favor.

Subject: escape column name

I inherited a db with column names like:
Close Date & Time

I am having trouble querying these columns. When I put double quotes =
around
them, I get:

Enter value for time: old 17: ,"Close Date & Time"

Any help appreciated.
