Hermant,

I can say that our clients are quite happy with it and we have great
experience with that platform. If you are interested in any particular
detail, drop me a mail.

Cheers,
Alex

Has anyone on this list used egenera for 10gRAC ?

It talks of "BladeFrame" and "Processing Area Network".

egenera has approached us for an implementation. Currently we run a a large
number of standalone databases and few RACs, but the largest
"database server farm" is a 2 node RAC Cluster running 5 database (8
instances).
So "egenera" looks like a good opportunity for consolidation with
real ability to scale ?
