If you cast pearls before swine they'll just stomp them into the mud and then
lay on them. For sure.

Subject: duhveloper comment of the day

I sent out an email to a few developers yesterday with a link to the recent
article by Tom Kyte in Oracle magazine. I get into an email exchange with one
of them about some of Tom's points. The entire email is hilarious but here is
the best line:

"Triggers should be viewed as dml, when it comes to inspecting them like code."

I know there is a lot that I don't know but if you are working with databases,
well, I don't know...you should have a clue.

Hopefully some of you will find this entertaining because it is stressing me
out.
