Is anyone else having problems createing a database with DBCA on ext3 using 10.1.0.4 x86-64 oon AMD? I'm running an "unbreakable" RHEL4-64 setup and finding that Oracle is stomping on its memory and dumping core during the creation phase...since 10.1.0.4 x86-64 is so new, I wouldn't be surprised to find that nobody has tried it (and I mean NOBODY, like not even Oracle) ...but thought I'd ask. Note, if I generate a script from dbca and hand execute it, everything is fine *** SERVICE NAME:() 2005-11-05 09:18:52.106 *** SESSION ID:(165.1) 2005-11-05 09:18:52.106 Exception signal: 11 (SIGSEGV), code: 1 (Address not mapped to object), addr: 0x68, PC: [0xebfcd2, ksqdeli()+194] *** 2005-11-05 09:18:52.118 ksedmp: internal or fatal error ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ksqdeli()+194] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x000000068] [] [] ORA-25153: Temporary Tablespace is Empty ----- Call Stack Trace ----- calling call entry argument values in hex location type point (? means dubious value) -------------------- -------- -------------------- ---------------------------- Cannot find symbol Cannot find symbol Cannot find symbol ksedmp()+569 call ksedst() 000000001 ? 000000001 ? 01AE27BFE ? 0053E3868 ? 01AE27BFE ? 0053E3860 ? ssexhd()+996 call ksedmp() 0A85621D0 ? 000000001 ?
